I had pigs ears in china - they are actually not so bad

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

And here you were accusing us of lacking adventure

Actually I was never really much more exotic stuff until I traveled as an adult. And even then it's more like "I'll try anything once"...sometimes you enjoy it, sometimes you don't.

Packed with logical fallacies, so I wonder what your purpose actually is. It does not follow that admiring the cultural and physical features of your spouse "objectifies" them. That's ridiculous.

Exoticize? By definition two different cultures and races on the opposite sides of the planet are exotic to one another. This is a visa forum. How could you possibly think such a thing unusual? What a great topic for an international forum - how stupid people are for liking the cultural and physical traits across disparate countries.

The oddest logical fallacy is to pretend that a person's culture, their race, is not a part of them. Somehow, growing up in the Bronx and the son of caucasian christians, Joe was asian, spoke visayan, was muslim, and followed the tradition of children supporting their parents in retirement, etc.

You are not paying attention.

I'm sure we could all point to cultural things about our SO's that we love. For instance, I'll never stop enjoying my husband's Ulster accent. I'll always appreciate his solid British/Irish upbringing and resultant good manners. And he's got that quick wit and way with words that seems to be a particular gift of his people.

Given all that though, I wouldn't imply that these traits cause him and all males of his culture to be "superior" to males of other cultures. Every culture has it's good and bad and that filters down to it's people.

If you've missed what we are making fun of, then - you are a part of the "problem".

Our journey together on this earth has come to an end.

I will see you one day again, my love.

+1

eta: I have never eaten kidney. Kidney beans I don't have a problem with, though  I'm a weird eater though, and could quite easily be a vegetarian (other than my love for chicken, heh)

Sure. Anyone can make fun of whomever they please. "Look how stupid you are for what you love about your SO."

Well obviously a trash thread given a lot of the other posts, but I did want to respond to the OP./

Well put indeed ! After I saw the title of this thread I was completely appalled...and shocked all at the same time. These women are totally objectifying their spouses as if they were nothing more than a British piece of meat. If you ask me these piranha type women in this forum went over to the UK shopping for a trophy husband for nothing more than bragging rights and sex.

Thank god you don't see this kind of behavior in the RUB forum....where we respect our spouses and worship and honor the ground they walk on. :)

This thread is hilarious.

But well, the men who only talk about their women as little more than whores?

Remember back in high school, when you'd make out with a guy and he'd tell his buddies he had hours of sex with you and that you let your friends join and all that??

I think it's the same thing. But then again I never believe men in regards to sex. Women divide what happens/who they do, men multiply what happens/who they do.

The girl doing the tour of the Ben & Jerry's factory in VT said they put chunks of actual monkey in their ice cream! :o

The munchkin and the other kids on the tour were a little upset when she said that.

Don't interrupt me when I'm talking to myself
