You have to be the most paranoid person I have ever met in my life.

Well all I can say to that is get a life :lol: You obviously have been very sheltered :D

I'd like to thank the good Capt and Aussie for making it clear a time line is not mandatory.

The reason I posted was that I came here for information and many posts no matter how trivial the question had some do good timeliner telling the poster to update the time line..I thought I had messed something about the rules ... us paranoid types are prone to do that :hehe:

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

aussiewench - That is of course you opinion about completing the timeline. Not trying to be rude because I do respect and appreciate all of the valuable information that you have provided here on VJ.

Everyone - When you see Capt Ewok, tell him the sheriff is looking for him. LOL!

You do realize that Capt Ewok is one of the Head Honchos around here, don't ya??

as for timelines, I think if you want to have a timeline go for it but if you don't thats ok to  ..

I don't really see how they help other people because everybody's case is different.... and to judge how your own timeline is going by someone else's timeline is kind of silly

what bugs me is when someone tells someone else to post a timeline and it has nothing to do with the question

Guns N Roses - Out Ta Get Me

Been hidin' out

And layin' low

It's nothin' new ta me

Well you can always find

a place to go

If you can keep your sanity

They break down the doors

And they rape my rights but

They won't touch me

They scream and yell

And fight all night

You can't tell me

I lose my head

I close my eyes

They won't touch me

'Cause I got somethin'

I been buildin' up inside

For so fu##in' long

They're out ta get me

They won't catch me

I'm innocent

They won't break me

You dont have to post a timeline. And reading "post your timeline" all the time can be annoying sometimes I guess. But I don't see why you'd refuse to do so to begin with if it helps others, it doesn't take more than 5 min. It helps people you're asking help from.... I think that if you're a part of a comunity that you care about you'll do what you can to help. But anyway.... you're free to do what you want.

Just though of part of the lyrics to a song... "Can't forget you only get what you give" :star:

good luck

why'd i just read this ENTIRE thread??

Good grief...i must seriously be bored.

i never have never really understood the paranoia related to 'the internet'. there is already a TON of information about all of us out there in databases...

i'm not doing anything wrong...therefore, i have nothing to worry about.

anyone who would worry that the thought police are here on behalf of USCIS...well, frankly, that's just absurd. USCIS processes what?--hundreds of thousands of visa applications each year? we on VJ are a representatively small minority...chump change to USCIS. they have no time or motivation to search through these forums looking for one of us to say something potentially incriminating, that could never be held up as 'fact', anyway. there is no way, even if they wanted to, that an employee of USCIS could prove that the author of any single post topic was any one person. even if we were to post our actual case numbers online, there is no way for USCIS to prove that the author of a post is actually the petitioner or beneficiary...after all, we all know that it's easy to impersonate someone online.

now, if you choose to not fill in your timeline, so be it. i, on the other hand, can use all the help i can get.
