Time Frame to file I-130?

We just got married with wife being present on a tourist visa. When does the I-130 need to be filed/sent in? Does it just need to be received before her I-94 6 month departure date, or what are the magical dates and information I should be aware of? Any other time frames I should be aware of? Her current I-94 expiration date is early March of this year. Thanks.

If you are an American citizen and your wife from overseas, it DOESN'T matter WHEN her I-94 expires(d), because if you married her before it expires and you file for her A.O.S they will look past IF SHE WAS OUT OF STATUS WHEN YOU MARRIED HER, IF THAT'S THE CASE, which yours isn't. :dance::dance: :dance:

BUT!!!!! IF YOU WANT TO PLAY IT SAFE, All the forms need to be filled at the same time :luv: File everything at the same time in one huge FOLDER OR FILE... :D

12/03/10 -- R.F.E

12/03/10 -- MAILED OUT RESPONSE FOR R.F.E

12/10/10 -- BIOMETRICS COMPLETED

01/03/11 -- RECEIVED INTERVIEW LETTER

01/14/11 -- E.A.D APPROVED

01/19/11 -- E.A.D RECEIVED IN MAIL

01/20/11 -- FILED FOR SOCIAL SECURITY

01/28/11 -- SOCIAL SECURITY RECEIVED IN MAIL

02/02/11 -- INTERVIEW DAY - IN & OUT IN EXACTLY 5 MIN - "PRAISE GOD" - GREEN-CARD APPROVED - CARD MAILED OUT

02/11/11 -- GREEN CARD ARRIVED IN MAIL TODAY 9 DAYS AFTER INTERVIEW, HE SAID IT WOULD BE HERE IN 7 BUT IT TOOK 9, WHO CARES RIGHT :)
