I am trying to get a state ID for a new immigrant and one of the requirements is proof of address.

I am just wondering what is the complete list of items that would qualify as proof of address ?

CR-1 Visa Was Approved :-)

Entry Date to USA: 2/3/2011

12-10-2012 - Sent off I-751 packet visa USPS

I751 Was approved - 10 Year GC was granted

N-400 Progress

4/10/2014: Package Mailed
4/11/2014: Package Received
4/14/2014: Notice Date
x/x/2014: Biometrics appointment

Copy of welcome letter? This should show an address.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

In Illinois, you would need:

1. A valid passport, I-94, or Social Security Card to prove identity

&

2. (2) proofs of residency: Letter that came with S.S. #, any letters from USCIS that include immigrant's full name and U.S. address, or possibly a mobile phone bill (if it's in new immigrant's name)

Again, these are proofs needed for a first time I.D. in the state of Illinois. I would check your Secretary of State website to confirm your state's requirements.
