there are still alot of people who havent gotten their imbra rfe yet

I had written in another thread that I am really hoping that the switch back to reviewing based upon the NOA1 date does not push those old petitions affected by the IMBRA RFE compliance further to the right. There are still many petitions that are long overdue for a decision and awaiting IMBRA RFEs. I'm betting that for a while we will continue to see some petitions out of sequence, for various reasons. Will the change back to reviewing based upon the NOA1 date create another entanglement within CSC or will they get on the good foot and really crank our approvals (based on eligibility of course)? Unfortunately, recent history is not on their side and only time will tell because they are not telling the public #######. Cheers!!!

Sign this then. This whole USCIS is a joke. As one of the higher ups who quit said, "It is so broke, it needs to be compeltely dismantled and rebuilt."

I suspect CSC has different groups of people handling different groups of cases, for example those with an IMBRA RFE and those without.

Take it from someone that has worked in a government office; if you think they are that organized think again. What really needs to happen is that the regional offices process our applications instead of sending it off to California to sit in some black hole.

Kirsten, I don't think anyone disagrees with you. It's just many of us who have been going through this for 5+ months have spent a lot of time and engergy trying to get answers and information - we tried for months to get an explanation or information from USCIS about IMBRA, from CSC about the transfers and how it would affect timing, and then our senators and congressman regarding the delays and then the processing order.

I have spent countless hours on the phone trying to reach a person who actually knew what was going on in the first place and then actually cared enough to do something. I have written letters, sent faxes, and even spoken to congressmen's office out of my district since I couldn't get help in my district. In the end, I have two contacts, one at each senator's office, who seem intelligent enough to understand what is going on and to want to try to help. But they have also explained that, to some degree, their hands are tied. They can make an inquiry, but CSC doesn't have to respond. They can try to get the director of CSC to look at the data that proves they are not following processing order (and proves that there are people from March who still have not received their RFEs). In msot cases, CSC simply responds that according to their guidelines, no petitioner can complain until they are 30 days past their posted processing times. No wonder they changed their processing times back to Feb. 23. The senators agree the system is completely broken and that CSC has lied about processing order and about how they were sending out RFEs. But they also say there is nothing they can do to change it.

I'm not saying anyone should give up - I won't until I have my approval and my petition is actually at the consulate. But for now, I'm exhausted. There is nothing more I can do but hope that my senator's offices can actually do something - and it doesn't exactly look that way.

This mirrors my experience pretty much exactly, unfortunately.

I am a newbie, just filed this month. I am wondering if anyone knows the official reason the Process date was changed from March 6th to February 23rd? Is this truly to cover their collective arses? Or is there some other reason? I know I am new and all, but how can they go back on the processing times, they need to pay for some over time or something! IMHO.

By the way I added a link to this petition to a site based on American/Filipino relationships I hope it helps add to the numbers that sign it.

No matter who you are or if you have a case pending, if you think USCIS needs to get off there collective arses and start doing some real work sign this petition. Let's show our government that we won't take this BS anymore.

To the August filer who thinks I have a defeatus attitudue. When you've been waiting anothr 5 months you'll understand my negativity.

I truly think we ARE powerless against the US Gvt. It's a very frustrating and humbling experience.

Besides which if they are now going by NOA1 dates I'm so freaking close to the top of the pile I don't want to rock the boat.
