SO FOR ALL OF THOSE THAT WERE UNHAPPY THAT THE CSC WAS GOING BY IMBRA RFE DATE, THAT IS NOW OVER. THE NEW DRIVE....SHOULD BE THE OVER ALL SLOWNESS OF THE CSC APPROVALS FOR ALL OF US, MARCH APRIL AND MAY! IN ADDITION IT SHOULD BE POINTED OUT THAT THE VERMONT SERVICE CENTER IS PUMPING NOA1 TO NOA2 IN A MONTH FLAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!AND CSC IS TAKING SEVERAL MONTHS AND HAS A LONG WAY TO GO TO CLEAR OUT THE REST OF THE IMBRA'S.

BOTTOM LINE: IF WE ALL COME WITH THE SAME CLEAR MESSAGE ABOUT THE RIDICOULOUS SLOWNESS AT THE CSC, WE COULD IMPOVE ALL OF OUR TIMES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THIS WILL TAKE ALOT OF PHONE CALLS AND PERSISTANCE TO SENATORS AND CONGRESSMEN OR ANY RELEVANT GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS. I AM GOING TO DO MY PART TOMORROW AND WRITE 3 LETTERS TO 3 DIFFERENT PEOPLE OF MY DISTRICT.

LETS DO IT, IT HAS HELPED BEFORE AND IT CANT HURT. iF ANYONE HAS ANY GREAT IDEAS ON WHO TO CONTACT PLEASE SHARE.

Amen. It's on my to-do list for this week. No more bucking the system alone. Time for us all to band together and coordinate our efforts.

Remember, though, we need to keep everything RESPECTFUL!! The minute we cross the line into disrespectfulness, they can dismiss us. We need to be perceived as rational and credible...not as an angry, irrational bunch of crackpots. We can be strong without being obnoxious!!

The change-over back to the NOA1 date must be scheduled for 01Sep06, or a later date, because it appears they still approving petitions with ink that hasn't dried yet. In other words, freshly submitted petitions.

Good point! I just think now that everyone has sent in their IMBRAS and that is no longer an issue and they are now going by noa1 date again instead of RFE return date, that we are all in the same boat. The USCIS and other officisals can no longer use IMBRA as an excuse and VJ memebers can no longer be upset about going by RFE.

I guarentee if we ALL were to be creative and as you say RESPECTIFULLY and aggrssivly pursue this to our representitives, particularly before election time, it could make a big difference.

LETS FLOOD THEM STARTING NOW>>>>>>>>

You refer to USCIS now going back to NOA1 dates. Where did you get this information from? Is this more theory or speculation? As a March petitioner I'm afraid to get my hopes up!

As far getting congressional support - I think USCIS have already responded to us all with an 'up yours' by setting the processing dates back to 23 Feb (6 months)!!

For sure! We of the old forms that filed in June are stuck in limbo because apparantly the CSC has assumed based on our NOA1 dates that we must have used the new forms. Jackarses!!!

And you think that should stand? You think that we should just lie back and take it? This is just the sort of complacency I was writing about in another thread. One "up yours" does not a battle conclude. We need to be stronger and smarter warriors. A defeatist attitude will only guarantee defeat.

Kirsten, I don't think anyone disagrees with you. It's just many of us who have been going through this for 5+ months have spent a lot of time and engergy trying to get answers and information - we tried for months to get an explanation or information from USCIS about IMBRA, from CSC about the transfers and how it would affect timing, and then our senators and congressman regarding the delays and then the processing order.

I have spent countless hours on the phone trying to reach a person who actually knew what was going on in the first place and then actually cared enough to do something. I have written letters, sent faxes, and even spoken to congressmen's office out of my district since I couldn't get help in my district. In the end, I have two contacts, one at each senator's office, who seem intelligent enough to understand what is going on and to want to try to help. But they have also explained that, to some degree, their hands are tied. They can make an inquiry, but CSC doesn't have to respond. They can try to get the director of CSC to look at the data that proves they are not following processing order (and proves that there are people from March who still have not received their RFEs). In msot cases, CSC simply responds that according to their guidelines, no petitioner can complain until they are 30 days past their posted processing times. No wonder they changed their processing times back to Feb. 23. The senators agree the system is completely broken and that CSC has lied about processing order and about how they were sending out RFEs. But they also say there is nothing they can do to change it.

I'm not saying anyone should give up - I won't until I have my approval and my petition is actually at the consulate. But for now, I'm exhausted. There is nothing more I can do but hope that my senator's offices can actually do something - and it doesn't exactly look that way.

I keep hearing that they went back to NOA1 date, but where did this information originate from. What evidence is there for this. I dont want to be negative, but I refuse to have my hopes up setting myself up for frustration and disappointment. I have talked to the senators as well as the congressmens office. Both pushed me off....one said not to call back till 9/11, the other said 30 days after our conversation (9/22). Being that she know nothing (including anything about IMBRA). I didnt have much faith in that office. She read what I originally gave her and when I told her, I needed more than what I already knew, she said 'you knew that'...Dah, the only thing she told me is they have my RFE (not knowing anything about IMBRA and apparently not recalling that was part of my letter and conversation with her 2x!). So far nothing has generated a shred of information, not even a response from a not so pleasant letter written to the senators office regarding the brushoff I got 4x!

Good luck I hope you have progress, we could all use it. At this point, everytime I do something and tell her what I did, she gets her hopes up also. Then I have to disappoint her. That hurts.

For now, I will wait but focus on my trip to see my baby (72 days till I fly to my baby's arms! Yeah!).

qqq777iii888 posted this a few weeks ago, saying that his lawyer heard it directly from a CSC staffer. While we have seen some March approvals, we have also seen approvals from much later dates. So once again, bottom line is that there is no official information regarding processing order.

It would seem to me every service center has many agents and depending on who is working on your case, maybe your getting attention and maybe you are not.In any office you have some people who are up to date on thier work and others who are not. This would account for some march people who are still waiting because thier case was given to an agent who is very far behind. While others are getting approval who filed much later because thier agent is a person who thinks that when you have a job you should work.
