Interview done but no visa yet

Hello all,

my fiancee had her interview for K-1 visa on January 27, 2011. It has been more than a week (8 workings days) and she has not gotten any confirmation, text or email, her passport with the visa is out for deliver. She has a friend who had her interview that same day and she gotten her visa already.

Is the delivery time take this long? Who should I call to follow up on this matter?

Im sure my fiancee and I are not the only ones who had this problem before.

Any comment is appriciated.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

Have you called DOS to find out if the visa is printed yet?

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

have they kept her passport? did they tell her at the interview if she has been approved or not?

the same thing happened to me at the South Korean embassy, They told me I was approved and will recieve my passport with in 5 days, however I got it after 4 weeks (1 of the 4 weeks was a national holiday). every time I called them they said it will be coming soon.

don't worry and just be patient (easier said than done, I know). if she was told she has been approved then she will definitely get it, it's just a matter of time.

my fiancee got approved on jan 20 and she in the way to pick her visa right now.....

edit:we email the embassy regarding the problem and received this(We are pleased to inform you that you were issued a fiancée (K1) nonimmigrant visa on February 4. Barring unforeseen problems, the visa packet will be delivered to your designated address by guaranteed courier service.)

Don't worry.. you will get it.. It takes time. Call up the embassy to ask when it was printed and you should get it 2-3 days after it was printed. The courier only texted me the day he was coming

My Journey:

We met through a study-abroad program in Shanghai, China in August of 2009

We got engaged March of 2010

I received my K1 VISA in 6 months (June-December 2010)

We were married 04/02/2011
I received my conditional 2-year greencard (AOS) in 2.5 months with no interview (April-June 2011)

Our son was born 02/03/2013

I received my masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology 04/17/2013

I received my 10-year greencard (ROC) in 3 months with no interview (March-June 2013)

My husband returned from deployment 06/20/2013

My naturalization journey took 4 months (April-August 2014)

I became a US citizen on 08/01/2014

Received passport in 3 weeks (regular processing)
