hi guys...

just have a quick question that i'm not completely 100% sure on. my parents want to visit us from SA and they're doing the visitor's visa application right now. is it ok for them to come visit us while our AOS is still pending? we got our NOA1 email yesterday and we're waiting for the snail mail letter. when my dad goes for the visa interview i'm gonna send him our marriage certificate and a copy of our NOA1 and both our passports. my i-94 expired a few days ago and my dad is worried that i'll get into trouble if they say they're coming to visit us and my i-94 is expired.

what say you?

you will not get in trouble... its perfectly fine

my mom had her interview on January and I sent her a invitation letter explaining that I came on a K1 visa and we wanted her to come visit us and introduce her to my wife's family for the very first time and letting them know I am already married and everything and sent along with that a copy of my passport, visa and my fiances birth certificate. I guess a copy of your NOA2 would be good too.. oh and I sent a copy of marriage certificate too.. my moms visa was approved and valid for the next 10 years.. woohoo.. :)

good luck with everything
