I think I'm pregnant...

Thanks for the replies...

I'm not sure about my pregnancy because I haven't take the test yet but there are symptoms that I am and if I am, I'm 3weeks on the way. Of course, my fiance(the USC) is the father :P. he just left the Philippines on Jan 29th. :)

right, expedite will not be an advantage for this case because if pregnancy will be one of the valid reasons for expedite, then every one will impregnate their fiancees. :) and one probable disadvantage is that my fiance needs to satisfy the poverty level requirements for 3persons. b-( Just Hoping our petition will get approve before I give birth.:)

You answered your own question very well. :)

I hope your petition is approved soon, but as of late petitions have been approved in 5 to 6 months time...

Best wishes! (F)

August 23, 2010 - I-129 F package sent via USPS priority mail with delivery confirmation.

August 30, 2010 - Per Department of Homeland Security (DHS) e-mail, petition received and routed to California Service Center for processing. Check cashed. I-797C Notice of Action by mail (NOA 1) - Received date 08/25/2010. Notice date 08/27/2010.

After 150 days of imposed anxious patience...

January 24, 2011 - Per USCIS website, petition approved and notice mailed.

January 31, 2011 - Approval receipt notice (NOA 2) received by mail. Called NVC, given Santo Domingo case number, and informed that petition was sent same day to consulate.

Called Visa Specialist at the Department of State every day for a case update. Informed of interview date on February, 16 2011. Informed that packet was mailed to fiance on February, 15 2011.

February 21, 2011 - Fiance has not yet received packet. Called 1-877-804-5402 (Visa Information Center of the United States Embassy) to request a duplicate packet in person pick-up at the US consulate in Santo Domingo. Packet can be picked-up by fiance on 02/28.

March 1, 2011 - Medical exam completed at Consultorios de Visa in Santo Domingo.

March 9, 2011 at 6 AM - Interview, approved!

Congrats on the hopeful Baby

You are thinking about how it will impact your VISA appl process and from the previous threads above it doesn't sound like it will affect how USCIS will process with the mods mentioned above. However I think when you look at your timing its not going to be USCIS which will be your problem as more so your ability to travel by the airlines. I dont think airlines let you travel if you are more than 7 months pregnant. You might be delayed moreso due to the preganancy and have to wait to deliver and have everyone in good health status to travel which could add more months onto the already long process. It sounds like your cork will be ready to pop right at interview time and the airlines will so "Whoa Nelly! Need to have that Bambino there before you fly our friendly skies"

hi, sorry if I posted this early :) but we are about to send the package and I am delayed but too early for me to take the test, it might only come back negative so, we decided to seek some advise first because if this will compromise the petition as well as the pregnancy, we rather wait. yah know, better this early than sorry :)

btw, thanks to all who replied. Thanks for the congratulatory as well. :)

If the baby is born in the Philippines then you will need to apply for CRBA for the baby and you WILL require a DNA test to prove it's our fiance's. If the child is born in the US then it's automatically a citizen so it doesn't matter.

In terms of helping your case no it doesn't.

Many airlines either strongly suggest against or even deny air travel for women who are 7 months or later into pregnancy. Especially for long trans ocean flights where there is nowhere to land for a medical emergency.

we put w/ ours "none" because the baby is still unborn but we are planning to include my pregnancy test result and write down the date of conception on our timeline. well, I don't know if this is correct so hopefully somebody from here will help us w/ this thing. :)

Did you even read the ENTIRE thread, including the post just before yours?

OP, so sorry that you lost the baby, but everything happens for a reason. May you have an uneventful, uncomplicated "visa journey."

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

I'm sorry for your loss.

This is why I wouldn't mention "expecting" on the forms... because of situations such as this. Until the baby is born you don't have children. You can always mention it in an interview.

I, too, am sorry for your loss. It would seem that our "children" would've been about the same age since my fiancée is completing her 7th week. And, like mentioned above, we don't plan on mentioning anything about the pregnancy until it comes time for her medical exam and interview; which, I'm planning on being present for. At least you know that you can conceive and can try again once you're in the States. I wish you well and hope your visa journey is quick and uneventful.
