I like Starbuck's espresso roast ground coffee(it's flavor is obviously like espresso). I also like 8 o'clock coffee and I think when I have had Community coffee in the past, I thought it was good. I often buy store brand 100% arabica coffee too, though.

While out, Starbucks latte for treats. If it's plain coffee, Starbucks. Or Dunkin Donuts only if they made a good batch. I have a feeling our retiree population has pressured the local D&D to make the coffee weaker. If they can do that, they did. It's not consistent anymore. One day D&D will taste really good. A week later, watered down tasting. We don't have many other specific coffee shop choices here.

Married since 9-18-04(All K1 visa & GC details in timeline.)

Pretty much Vietnamese coffees. I am hooked on them. On the road I take with me Vina cafe which are packets to make an instant coffee. At home my wife makes me Vietnamese style coffee.

We are soooo addicted to Highlands coffee, but cannot get it here that I know of.......

They have a few big asian markets and also vietnamese somewhere off N. Broadway, have you tried there? If not I will look for it when I go home at the big Vietnamese supermarket we have and see if they have it and if so I will send a care package. I will send a message with my email.

Here is a link to how to make a proper vietnamese coffee but of course my wife wouldn't let me use an American coffee or an American sweet condensed mil. Has to be Vietnamese. She is a snob that way.

Here is a linki to Vina cafe that I carry in my truck and drink while on the road. I get this and the other Vietnam coffees at our vietnam supermarket:

Cafe Legal (Mexican brand).

S & W (?), available at Big Lots.

A couple of Mexican brands unavailable in the U.S.

Will splurge on Folger's if there's a sale and I have a coupon.

All "instant."

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

My favorite coffee to drink at home is Gevalia - Stockholm Roast. I usually order them in bulk when I have a 15% or 20% off coupon and stock them in my freezer. My husband who never used to drink coffee is now an addict. When I drink coffee outside (which is very rarely), I usually go for a cup at Denny's or at a Lebanese deli.

I also have a vaccum coffee maker to brew my coffee. IMO, it tastes much better than using a regular coffee maker. It is a real pain to wash it after every use but it is worth it if you really love coffee.
