Holy Shnikeys!!!

Mohamed's from a town in the delta too. Kafr el Dawar to be exact..now that is one hell of a town!

I road on a few microbuses on both my trips to Egypt. I didn't mind them really. I had some of the most restful naps of my life on my husband's shoulder riding in a microbus. Last time we rode one it was jam packed so I had to sit with a bunch of women I didn't know and my husband sat behind me with a group of men. He kept poking me and telling me not to fall asleep on anyone's shoulder :D

Speaking of microbuses, here's my husband's most harrowing story, and he has a lot of harrowing stories, many of which include him getting hit by a vehicle of some sort

Ok, so he got on a microbus going from his town in the Delta to Cairo, coincidentally on his way to meet me at the airport for the first time. It's a 2 hour trip (i think). So, shortly outside of his hometown, the brakes go out. The driver asks if everyone wants to keep going, and everyone says inshaAllah. So, they trundle along, no brakes, all the way into Cairo and Ramses station. They manage to slow down enough for my husband to hop out with all of his bags packed for a 3 week stay in Cairo. Then off goes the bus, into the nether regions of Cairo traffic :o
