Good morning ya'll! Well another Wednesday is here. ANother day at work. I hate waking up on cloudy days. I wish we could just sleep in on cloudy days. It's going ot be another long day here at the bank. I've been her for a hour and it feels like I've been here for five hours. I hope the day ends up going by fast. I want to go home and sleep all afternoon. Oh well, only 7 more hours to go.

I can't wait for this weekend. I have to work on Saturday, but only for 4 hours so it doesn't really count, and then it's a 3 day weekend! Yay! My husband and I are going to a Labor Day picnic with my dad out at the park where we were married. That will be nice because he hasn't met many of my dad's friends. Plus, we have this awesome softball game at the picnic, and my team always wins!

Well Saturday it's supposed to rain all day. I don't mind so much. I could use a nice quiet day in my house where I don't have to worry about cleaning or cooking. Maybe I'll go out and rent a movie or two.

Well I hope everyone has a good day today. :)

... Finishing my pickle. We all ordered lunch out to celebrate a birthday in the office today. Today has been NUTS. Very extremely busy and I'm already beat. I haven't been sleeping the best and I'm paying for it now.

Guys I feel so guilty. You know the net is down in for repairs in Mohammed's town. This man is getting on a "cheap bus" (and if you know what that means, the ride is less then cushy) in the wee hours of the morning and riding an hour each way to go to another city to use the internet to call me for a quick 15 minute phone call because I have to sleep and we are trying to conserve our finances. I told him that he doesn't have to do this. I can manage until Thursday or Friday when the net is to be back up. Well, no... he knows me too well and he is doing this every night. He sounds so tired. I feel horrible that he's puting himself through this just for stupid me. His sleep schedule is totally messed up. But I won't lie. I'm grateful. The sound of his voice can erase a whole bad day.

This is just becoming the week from hell. All I know is there is a big huge cup of coffee waiting for me with my name on it at 3 pm. That should keep my eyes open long enough for the long drive home. Whee.

By "cheap bus" are you referring to the micro bus? Now those are cushy...NOT!

Yep... they're as safe as they are cushy too. I've been in one. Poor Mohammed was terrified for us both. He held me like I was a child the 2 hours it took to get home. Best sleep of my life. Ha ha. (Poor man)

Speaking of microbuses, here's my husband's most harrowing story, and he has a lot of harrowing stories, many of which include him getting hit by a vehicle of some sort

Ok, so he got on a microbus going from his town in the Delta to Cairo, coincidentally on his way to meet me at the airport for the first time. It's a 2 hour trip (i think). So, shortly outside of his hometown, the brakes go out. The driver asks if everyone wants to keep going, and everyone says inshaAllah. So, they trundle along, no brakes, all the way into Cairo and Ramses station. They manage to slow down enough for my husband to hop out with all of his bags packed for a 3 week stay in Cairo. Then off goes the bus, into the nether regions of Cairo traffic :o
