checking status online after filing AOS

hi everybody,

i filed a I-485 on Jan. 21, 2011 and received and case number.

THen i tried to check the status online, they saying that your case doesn't found.

Anybody has a problem with checking their case number online @ uscis.gov?????

the case number begin with MSCXXXXXXXXXX

Yes I filed the day after you, my NOA1s are dated 31 January but they also cannot be found yet on the USCIS website. I've read it can take a week or 2 to appear so just keep checking each day :D

We got our NOA1 January 14th and still can't be found in the system. I tried calling the number it says underneath the "can't find case" message and wasn't able to speak with a human...

K-1 packet received: April 26, 2010

3rd packet supposedly sent from London, but never received: July 5

Confirmed return of 3rd packet: August 17

Found out they never received our 3rd packet September 21

Interview date: October 15, 2010

Entered into US: October 28, 2010

Married: November 13, 2010

AOS

Sent: January 8, 2011

NOA1: January 14, 2011

Transferred to CSC: March 1, 2011

CSC received AOS: March 7, 2011

I just filed my AOS in Feb. I am just curious as to how long it took you guys to get your NOA and for them to cash your check. It has only been five days for me and I am just curious thanks.....

I think the recent snow storms in chicago is possibly slowing everything up not sure that is jusy my guess. I know they were closed a couple of days because of the snow

I got a txt msg today about 1:10pm my time of my NOA and it had my receipt number....Good Luck to ya!!!!
