There is more than a thirty year age difference between you and your fiance. Honestly speaking, this has a high potential of being a problem. You will have to show concrete evidence to the CO that you both are truly in love. Large age difference is one of the main reasons that starts of a suspicion in the minds of the CO. Good luck to both of you.

Based on what I read here, It really depends upon the CO interviewing you. You just have to gather good evidences of your bonafide relationship to show them its REAL. Huge age gap is not new with fil-american couple here in the Philippines. There are lots who passed the interview even with a huge age gap.

Relax and don't be nervous, if you are confident about your relationship then the CO does not have a reason to doubt you guys. Is he coming for your interview? It might help if he did.

During the time I had my interview, a 23-yr-old girl was denied (CR1) because her husband was 61 AND had prostate cancer (the CO found out because the petitioner had no tax returns for the current year due to illness which the girl disclosed- he was not present for the interview) Anyway sadly she was denied because the CO said there were too many questionable issues.

I am sure your case is not the same or as extreme as this, and so don't worry about it and just be ready to prove your relationship :)

I think the age of the beneficiary (you, in this case) is more a factor in the interview than the age gap, and since you are beyond the minimum age requirement that the Philippine government requires, I wouldn't worry too much about the age gap, if I were you.

This age gap might be a big deal in India, but not in the Phils.

Older men rock the younger Pinay wife all the time in US. These fine ladies help keep us "old guys" so young, virile and vigorous. I bet OP makes her her man feel 27, not 57, and he will live to 107. B-)

Good Luck OP! Just double check all your relationship proofs, and hope your man has a solid job well above poverty guidelines, and you will be just fine!

In Russia it would be 30/70 yes/no, as its not common outside in normal life - society dictates. But since in Phillippines it may be inside of 'norm' you just need to have solid evidence, the presence of petitioner would be beneficial. Also be ready for the questions like "are you planning to have children together" and so on. Good luck !
