Medical Exam

Hello. My fiance is from Hanoi. Do you know if she can have her medical exam done there, instead of flying all the way to HCMC to have it done?

No she can't.. she can only get it done in one of two locations in HCMC. IOM or Cho Ray...

It sucks, but they dont care how far we have to travel or what it costs... Hotels, Airline tickets, cab rides.. they add up quick..

If she can fly Jetstar it is SOOO much cheaper than Vietnam Airlines. I hear service is bad and they cancel flights sometimes etc, but if you take it a few days ahead and aren't on a tight schedule it should save a lot of money.

Jetstar is cheap if you use the seats that are not flex... no changes etc.. VN airlines is so much better but a little more money and no problems changing flights... I have flown Jetstar so many times because of thier specilas they run... we got tickets to Singapore RT for around 20 USd + tax.. Jetstar cheap flights sell out fast depending on the time of year..

The crappy part is when you go and get pink and then they say come back in a week, and then after a week they say the same thing again... One plus to being from HaNoi is that the folks at Cho ray are more likely to slip you in rather than saying come back in a month when we have time for you... The head nurse at Cho ray said they are not allowed to turn someone away after a few days of them coming in and trying.. Some here have said otherwise... one thing for sure is that nothing is for sure when it comes to VN...
