06-02-2017 - N-400 package mailed to Dallas Lockbox

06-06-2017 - Credit card charged; received text and email confirming that application was received and NOA is on its way

06-10-2017 - Received NOA letter from NBC dated 06-05-2017

06-16-2017 - Received Biometrics Appointment Letter for 06-28-2017

01-19-2018 - Interview Letter sent

02-27-18 - Interview and Oath Ceremony. Finally US CITIZEN!

11/09/2010- Sent out I485, I-130, I-765 Applications Chicago Office11/14/2010- USCIS recieved my applications11/18/2010- Received Receipts11/29/2010- Received my biometrics appointment scheduled for 12/17/201012/17/2010- Biometrics Done01/07/2011- Interview Scheduled for Feb 7th.01/21/2011- Received Email saying EAD card production01/26/2011- Received Email again saying EAD card production01/31/2011- Received EAD Card in the Mail02/07/2011- AOS Interview - Green Card Approved!!!!02/08/2011- Received Email Card/Document Production11/30/2012- Mailed out I-75112/07/2012- Received NOA12/11/2012- Received Biometric Appointment letter

Long story short I came to the U.S when i was 12 on a visa waiver with my paretns and have stayed ever since Im 21 years old now married to a U.S Citizen AOS status thru U.S Spouse and our interview is tomorow Im really nervous!

I joined this forum in the very begining when i was worried about applying for aos from an overstayed visa waiver since Iam aware that certain states are denying visa waiver overstays. I talked to many people some that got approved from vwp Im also aware of the risk but being here illegally is no way to live Im sick of living in the shadow

Im really praying and hoping that tomorow will go good!

I will post an update after the interview

I went through this same situation with my ex-husband. He and his family overstayed, we were married and i can tell you the interview process, while nerve-racking went smoothly. Once we were married they did not seem so concerned with the overstay by his family. Just a word of advice for you and your spouse, just make sure you are on the same page with eachother, just be ready to answer some personal questions and just go into the interview with confidence. You will do fine and I wish you the best of luck

I am under stress as ive overstayed a whoppping 25 years as I came to the us when i was 3 years old. I thought i

was born here until I wanted to get my drivers license. I married my high school sweetheart and now have filed for aos. Story a little similar to yours. Please help ease my nerves as I have been living a lie due to my circumstances. Please let me know what questions I may expect.

An overstay is not as much of a problem if you came in with a tourist visa as opposed to a visa waiver.
