Hi Folks,

I filed for my parents in Nov and recd a RFE askng a birth cert. for self.

It says it contains a unique # and must be submitted in the original also it says it will take minm. 14 days to process from the date they receive the submission of the docs?

now do i need to do a cover letter or just sent what i received along with the Birth cert.?

You should  have received a RFE letter that you would use  to placed on top of the document that will sent in. IF one was not received then you can just send in the birth certificate. A cover letter is not necessary but if it makes you feel more confident you may include one ... a short one. Edited February 7, 2011 by RICARDO4EVA2
