Service Request Results :(

I'm so upset right now! So I called USCIS on Thursday Jan 27th to see why I hadn't gotten a response yet for my I129F submitted 9/8/2010. She tells me i am outside the normal 5 months time frame and to call back on the first of Feb if I haven't received anything by then. So as impatient as I am i called the 31st instead of the 1st of Feb. So the rep kindly puts in a service request for me and says it'll be 15 to 30 days for results. By now I'm feeling a little better knowing they'll at least be touching or eyeballing my application. Yesterday I get an email from USCIS and it says the following:

"Our computer systems show that your petition or application is still pending United States Citizenship and Immigration Services consideration."

No sh*t sherlock! I knew that already thats why i called you and asked for you to find out WHY its still pending. I'm so frustrated right now i don't know what to do. Has anybody gotten this before? Oh and to top things off I called yesterday and the chick told me they couldn't put another service request in until this recent one is 30 days old. I'm pissed! I don't think i can take this anymore!

First off I know how hard this process is and all I can say is be patient. Easier said then done but this should be in the proper forum. A I-129 has nothing to do with effects of major family changes at all and there is a proper forum that this can be more appreciated at. Also going there will show you many other people that are going through the same wait and frustrations that you are.

I completely sympathize with you and understand your frustration. You could contact your member of Congress and see if that makes a difference. Unfortunately, it really will just be a matter of giving it a little more time... Keep on checking the USCIS website and your case status, it might show your petition is approved when you least expect it!

Best wishes! (F)
