We (T-B., and by extension Mrs. T-B.) have become the ancestors of a descendant.

At 1:10 p.m. on Monday, 17 January 2011, Edward Louis was born by planned C-section, c man. He weighed 8 lbs. 5 oz. (3.77 kg) and was 20.5" long (52 cm), si man.

He's the initial descendant of his most immediate ancestors, and the first such descendant of his paternal grandmother. He's the sixth grandchild and fourth grandson of his maternal grandparents. The foregoing figures exclude the technical big sister, Daffodil the Cat.

Edward Louis is a very good baby who cries only when he's hungry, which is currently every 2.5 hours or less. His most immediate ancestress is sleepless, of course, but she's very dedicated to including her spousal unit in that status, zzz man. Fortunately, Mama-Mrs.-T-B. (maternal grandmother) got a tourist visa and is providing valuable assistance. Mama T-B. (paternal grandma, living locally) energetically barges in with a rogue house-key and makes massive grandmotherly cooing-type noises for hours upon end.

If his foto (Spanish spelling) appears below, it (1) was taken on his day of birth and (B) exists for your viewing pleasure via the courtesy of two VJ Moderators who generously assisted a technologically illiterate immediate ancestor (of the baby, not of the Moderators) in regard to the sizing and posting of said foto, si man.

Thought for the Day, si man: Babies are too young to talk. This knowledge makes them so mad that they cry all the time.

Thought for the Day #2, si man: The feeding of babies mimics a business model. Consumer demand prompts the Manufacturing of Product, which is rushed by Transportation to Consumer's job site and is delivered in desired quantity by Order Fulfillment, si man.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.
