Hi Folks

I will be going back to Aus for a holiday in April for approx 3 weeks. Seeing as i have not been back since i moved to the US in June 2006 do i need to get a returning visa at all? or, can i just travel back with no issues happening at the Aus end?

Just a bit concerned about this. as i want to book the trip.

Or valid US citizen passport.

I was meaning do i need a return visa to enter back into Australia for the holiday as i have been out of Australia for nearly 5 years.

Are you still an Australian citizen? If so, you are ofcourse allowed to go "home".

With the Australian passport you'll just 'walk in'. No obligations whatsover - one good thing about OZ. No issues to worry about, like the tax obligations to Uncle Sam if you were a USC......
