Hello,

My wife was once cited for being in the park after 9 pm. I know its stupid but they would not give her a warning and instead she was cited and pleaded guilty. All she did was pay a $25 fine. We did send them the deposition notice we received from court along with the application demonstrating her citation. Does everyone know if this is enough or does she have to get a certificate of good conduct? I know that when i applied for my citizenship i did the same thing but they still ask me to get a certificate of good conduct and all it did was delay my citizenship case. i dont want that to happen to her as well.

If they asked you for one why wouldn't you include one in her paper work to avoid getting her an RFE?

Generally when they update things they don't make it easier they make it harder. Its likely they will ask for one from her if they asked you for one.

Well the reason i had to get it was because my fingerprints were not clear when i went for my briometrics. i had to go 2 times and on the 3rd time i had to go to get a certificate of good conduct. In my wifes case all it took was 1 shot to get her fingerprints. Usually that means her fingerprints were clear by the FBI and she has no previous arrests. With me they wanted to make sure i was clear by the FBI and since my first 2 were rejected i ahd no choice but to get one.
