What a great surprise! I was getting ready to turn of my computer and go to bed, thinking another looooooong weekend ahead with no news when... I saw a new mail notice. AND IT'S NOA2!!!! My heart still pounding like crazy!

The worst thing is - I CAN'T REACH MY FIANCE to share the news! He is not picking the phone - he thinks I'm already asleep! And I won't be able to sleep without telling him. What a sweet torture!!! So excited!

Good luck to everyone waiting, well, it's worth it!

02/04/2011 - NOA2 (approved in 162 days from NOA1 date)

02/18/2011 - found out that US embassy (VILNIUS) sent packet 3 this morning

02/24/2011 - packet 3 received

02/24/2011 - packet 3 sent

02/28/2011 - packet 4 received

03/04/2011 - medical done

03/22/2011 - INTERVIEW (208 days since NOA1)- SUCCESS!!!

03/23/2011 - VISA!!!

03/24/2011 - POE JFK (at last!!!)

06/02/2011 - Married!

05/20/2011 - POE: LAX

06/03/2011 - Wedding!!

07/07/2011 - Adilet got his SSN!

07/11/2011 - Sent our AOS package (AOS & EAD)

07/13/2011 - NOA1 text message and an email

08/09/2011 - Biometrics taken

09/01/2011 - Email notification that our interview is set for October 14.

09/23/2011 - Email notification that Adilet's EAD is in production.

10/04/2011 - EAD in hands.

10/14/2011 - Interview. GC APPROVED on the spot! Yeah!

11/01/2011 - GC in hands

It's unbearable not being able to share my GREATEST NEWS with anyone - it's 2AM here and everyone is asleep, and my fiance is probably watching TV and doesn't hear the phone ringing... Please, can anyone switch power off in Connecticut so he would hear my call? lol... so desperate!

Congrats!!!!!!!!! I did the same thing I called my Fiancee as soon as I saw the e-mail at work, she thought something was wrong because I rarely call her from work but I was just so excited to give her the news. So right now I am working on the I-134 and getting together all the documents we will need for her interview in Rio De Janiero. I plan to be with her for the Interview. So I must schedule my vacation to coincide with the interview so that I can be there PS. Keep calling lol

That's funny, the same thing happened to me. I thought his phone died, but turned out he was in a meeting. I wanted him to be the first to know, but I couldn't wait anymore and revealed the news to my mom.
