Generally, and there will be exceptions of course:

If you are going through the Philippines, Vietnam, Russia etc etc the USC will be male and will be older that the beneficiary, sometimes by quite a bit.

If you go through MENA countries it is the opposite, most petitioners are female and will be older than the beneficiary.

Wow.. really?

Build a comprehensive evidence of relationship file and you should be fine.

Have read many VJ member success stories with a larger age difference than yours.

Good Luck!

Mavylyn and I met on MySpace almost 4 years ago. Just friends. To me at that time just a pretty philipina. The last year and a half I began to talk to her all the time. As I got closer to her I realized there is a 17 year age difference and I was getting to serious and with her feelings in mind and her future tried to end it. She was not happy and hurt. I deleted My entire MySpace account but forgot she was on my Messenger. 2 Days had passed and I sat miserably but knowing I did the right thing. Suddenly, a message come from Mav. I was so excited to hear from her. And it went from there.

Mavylyn is 32 and I'm 49. I met the family last August and have their Approval. I proposed to Mav January 30th 2010 and she is wearing my ring. (Well her ring) LOL

How do you feel and what do think the Philipphine Consulate will feel.

Mav and I talk EVERYDAY. Either Yahoo, web cam, phone.

Your imput is welcome. Oh, Mav don't know I wrote this yet. Our Account on VJ is Joint. OMG! She's going to kill me !

Thanks. Say it as it is please.

me and my hubby met on myspace too.he was hesitant for our gap differences.he kept telling me "you are to young for me" and i always said "no you're not" it was big deal for him that he is 15 years older than me. that's why i said to him one day "okay ,if im too young for you then quit talking to me" :( ...and he answered right away " uhh.. nope we are fine.. you are not too young for me.. :P lol... that's how our love story started. I agree what many on this thread said that Age is just a no .Love and trust is what matters between you and yr fiancee/wife. I also have a age gap difference , but it does not bother my fiancee or her family . We have grown to love and cherish each other and is waiting to spend the rest of our lives together. The people of the Philippines are very tolerant and hospitable .

Hello,

For me age doesn't matter. Don't worry about your age gap the important there is your truth relationship. My husband is 16 years older than me but i don't care about that, as long we are both live happy together. Just bring more important evidence that's it.

If age does not matter why do we not see older women and younger me going through the Philippines?

because, women here loves older men... :wow: and older men there loves younger men.. simple as that... thats why men there and women here are very "COMPATIBLE" :P
