Hello,

What do you all suggest as the best way to present the evidence at the interview? I imagine that the information must be loose-leaf. However, did you put it in book form with a Table of Contents that makes the information accessible to the CO? Any help would be welcome. My fiance and I are now in Hanoi with a mass of information, wondering how best to present it in an attractive manner.

Thanks.

Have every item paper clipped individually so that each item can be handed through the window as requested.. Its not like she will slide a huge packet through to them.. the slot at the base of the window is much like a security window at a late night convenience store... a folder that has labels and sections is a great way for her to be able to get them exactly what they ask for when they ask for it.. sections like the I134 could use a TOC so they know what is there...

A table of contents is great, but they wont take everything you bring, so the main thing is organization, and having your loved one know where EVERYTHING is so that if they ask for something she can get to it pretty quickly, sticky notes dividing what is what is fine, no hard binders since they wont bend, unless it is just to hold it in. Remember they might look at everything or nothing, the main thing they do look at is phone bills and photos. They say emails can be faked, but intodays world everything can be faked. Just be as organized, and highlight things on the phone bills, dates and duration, as well as other things that you think are important, so if they skim through them it is easier, also if possible put dates on the back of photos, as well as who is in them, and any short caption of what happened also helps. Good luck Jerome

I put all of our documents into two flexible plactic ring binders. I put a table of contents in the front of each binder. All of the documents were placed in plastic sleeves and tabbed. This made it very organized and easy to remove and replace documents.

I split the binders by information - the first one had all the "technical" documents and the 2nd binder had all our receipts, plane tickets, photos, proof of relationship type materials.

Bottom line is that whatever method you are comfortable using. The primary goal is to be organized and be able to provide them with the requested documents when asked.

We reviewed everything many times so Doan knew exactly where everything was. In the end for us, they looked at very little - you just never know.

Best Wishes and Good Luck!!
