What if we all take some time out and try some kind of positive reinforcement? Instead of flooding the Service Centers with enquiry and complaints, which they are already immuned to by now, let’s take them by surprise.

Let’s take the valentine week and flood the service centers with messages of appreciation, even if you’re still waiting. Let’s just call them, email them, and mail them our letters of appreciation. Let them know we understand they have to process thousands of cases and are working super hard to meet their estimated timeline. USCIS Personel are just Human and have procedures like any job. I know down the road they will upset me as well. There is Due Process in your petitions and the outcome can be devastating or in your behalf. It seems like a game with your feelings, it really does. Good luck to all of you. My Valentine is 6000 miles away too. It seems so long does'nt it ?

You know funny you mention this as when I got my visa back in Australia they stuffed around wanting a divorce decree that they lost and held me up for a week. SO when I emailed them to check on it the 2nd time It was sent to me in 24 hours. lol I actually sent Sydney consulate a thankyou email for pushing my visa through so quickly and getting it to me in time. I heard back about 3 days later and the email quoted that even though they can't take personal emails but were grateful for my sentiments she would make sure the staff were informed of my gratitude as it does not happen often .
