visa delivery

hi guys. I have some questions, how long does it actually take for the visa to be delivered in the provincial area (central Luzon) cause its been two weeks now since my fiance's visa interview last Jan 20. I've already checked the our visa status through online but it always says "no records found" is it really always like that? we also tried to check e-trace of 2go courier, but its also no success cause it says invalid. any idea guys? thanks.

Maybe it might be a good idea to check with the embassy. My wife lives in Mindanao and got her visa in 8 days.

Call up the embassy to ask about its status.. It took me 9 working days to receive it. They will tell you when its been printed or sent to courier already. Dont worry about it.

do you know what number to call from the US? cause i heard it would be much cheaper from here. i tried to call the number we found at USem site but it seems not the right one.

i know i shouldn't worry to much about the visa cause it'll arrive in a few days, its just that I already want to purchase her plane ticket cause the price keeps increasing and I already ask for a vacation leave in my work, but i can't do it until we get our visa on hand.

Do a search here on "embassy- Manila" I am sure someone has posted the number at some point or even been in the same situation.

I leave in Naga City in Bicol Region which is 9hrs. away from Manila and it took them 13 days before I got my visa. :)I called the USembassy hotline to check for the status of my visa but I don't have the number right now but other way you can check for the visa status is through their email : its IVManilaReplies@state.gov they will answer all your questions but it will take them 2 or three days before you can hear from them but they are very reliable .

I couldn't find a U.S. number for the embassy. However, I was able to get someone by dialing 011-632-301-2000, extension 5184 or 5185. If you're worried about the price, just sign up on www.rebtel.com. I signed up with my mobile phone number, added the embassy as one of my contacts, and it gave me a local number for them. It's about $0.12 per min, so the $10 got me more than one hour.

I think it varies on when they do printing and how soon 2GO gets it to you.

This is pretty much what we are hoping for, i called the 2go office in manila and if you pick it up from there you get it the day after they print and send it to 2go.

i just got mine last sat, 02/05; my interview was 01/28. You need to call 2go at (02)528-7136, wait time is like 5min but just be patient, someone will answer the line. every 4pm (mon-fri), they get a manifest from the embassy which has the names of the applicants whose visas are ready for delivery for the next day, if you live within metro manila. you can call them after 5pm, closing time is 6:30pm so you would know if your visa has been printed and is ready for delivery. they'll give you the tracking number over the phone once they have your name na in the manifest. then you can just ask how long it would take if you live outside metro manila. this way, you'll have an idea when you're getting the packet and visa and not waste time waiting and not knowing (i was waiting for like the whole week and can't go out of the house! )

If i were you i would be giving the embassy a call to let them know 2go does not have it and ask them where your visa and passport is.
