Hello,

I have seen "touched" in several post. What does this mean? And where do you see this? Is it when you "check my status online", you see that it had been touched?

I would love for someone to "touch" my paperwork!! :blush:

What redsnap is correct, however to be able to check last updated you have to create an account on uscis

Our case was received on Dec 8 2010 and was not touched until March 18th and on March 24th we received a text stating that our case had been sent to the NBC :crying: ….I am so worried that we are going to have to wait another couple of months..It feels like eternity :(

Ehm... you're sure you didn't mean NVC??? That's actually good news! You should seriously check again and if it's NVC then you'll have to submit all your materials pretty soon, after you got your NVC #!!!! I just know the NBC TV channel, so...

if it's NVC... oh boy... I'm jealous!

October 2008 - we first met each other at work (Makati, Philippines)

February 2010 - we finally admitted that we are in love (yay!)

Mar 18-Apr 5, 2010 - hubby went to the Philippines for vacation to celebrate his birthday

March 31, 2010 - engagement day!! yay!!

August 21-29, 2010 - hubby went back again to PH for the wedding prep

October 19-November 2, 2010 - hubby arrived in PH for our wedding :)

October 23, 2010 - WEDDING DAY!!

March 18-28, 2011 - hubby's visit to Philippines for his bday (2nd bday together)

USCIS Stage - 136 days for USCIS journey

December 2, 2010 - I-130 sent to Chicago Lockbox

December 6, 2010 - I-130 received!! yay!!

December 13, 2010 - NOA1 text message received!

December 16, 2010 - NOA1 hard copy received in the mail

April 28, 2011 - NOA2!!! Thank you LORD!

NVC Stage - 21 days for NVC journey

May 2, 2011 - NOA2 hard copy received in the mail; NVC received our case

May 6, 2011 - Case number and IIN ; DS3230 sent by beneficiary through email to NVC

May 10, 2011 - AOS bill invoiced and paid

May 13, 2011 - IV bill generated and paid

May 16, 2011 - IV bill shows "PAID" ; AOS and DS230 packets sent to NVC

May 18, 2011 - NVC received both packets

May 19, 2011 - Medical exam - PASSED!!! :)

May 27, 2011 - Sign in Failed and Case Complete!!! Woot!

June 9, 2011 - Interview date assigned

July 14, 2011 - Interview @8:30am - APPROVED!!!!

July 21, 2011 - Visa Received! FINALLY!

July 23, 2011 - POE - Salt Lake City, Utah *home sweet home*

02/05/2011...get a e-mail notice of NOA-1...states case transferred to CSC
02/08/2011...check clears my bank
02/10/2011... rec. hardcopy NOA-1 in mail...priority date..01/31/2011.....sit back relax and ride this slow mule!!
02/14/2011... touched ( it must have fallen on the floor )..hehe
05/12/2011...NOA-2 OMG...98days u kidding me!!!!!!!

NVC......

05/26/2011... finally got NVC case number...
05/28/2011... receive DS-3032 in e-mail/e-mailed the DS-3032 back
05/28/2011... receive AOS fee bill/ and paid online.
06/01/2011... AOS fee bill shows paid.
06/02/2011... DS-3032 accepted
06/03/2011... IV-bill generated and sented by e-mail

TSC is horrible and slow right now, but don't freak out just yet--petitions aren't actually sorted by the geographic area where you live (I live in Georgia, mine went to California). They seem to go to the service center that (supposedly) has the capacity to process them at that time. You should receive your NOA1 soon to tell you where it went. And even then, you can't really determine how long it will take. When I filed, CSC was going slooooooowly...but mine ended up going through super-fast!

It's called patients! They are wrecking their brains like we were in Feb & Mar. Now we have the patience they will have in May & June, while we get warm and fuzzy all over again once we start being touched and the NOA2's start rolling in! But, DO NOT WORRY, we are still here!!!good.gif
