I sent in my package on 10th of january and received a text message on the 13th. 2-3 days i received noa1 with priority date of 11th jan.

Hope we all have the same luck as october filers(Noa2 in 2-3 months). If not better :P

FILED on december 30 , 2010 and after 30 days the case was not online.. had to escalate..!

Raj,

I am able to view my case status online, though i dont know if thats a good thing as i am constantly checking it 5-10X a day for an update lol.

IF your case isnt avaiable to view online dont worry it seems like a common thing by reading other posts by other VJ forum members.

You can always call and check with USCIS for status update.

hell-o VJ...i got my NOA-1 finally today, i guess the post office does deliver in the snow storm.. :dance: send my I-130 in jan. 28th then the storm hit chicago....well round 1 done...now the long wait for round II :( , what i can't figure out is why they send it to CSC and not TSC which according to them is my service area.....OH well iam sure by the time i understand this i'll be :bonk::bonk: many times....now for the RFE's........iam a waiting i found 2 mistake already :lol:

02/10/2011... rec. hardcopy NOA-1 in mail...priority date..01/31/2011.....sit back relax and ride this slow mule!!
02/14/2011... touched ( it must have fallen on the floor )..hehe
05/12/2011...NOA-2 OMG...98days u kidding me!!!!!!!

Haha I'm from tsc, it is a never ending nightmare! But you never know what they will do with your petitions after a while. We were also sent to csc initially and then transfered to tsc! Good luck to you guys and much patience coz you will need it!

please dont jinx our petitions lol. Hopefully USCIS learned that their previous move was a bad idea and wont do it again*Gulp I hope*

The way I look at it peeps from october- november are getting approved now so in about a month or two it should be december or jan rite?

I sent off my I-130 January 31st thru FedX by air. It was received on the 3rd, according to tue tracking number from FedX. But no word from USCIS yet. I know its coming, its just killing me!! What's so bad about TSC??? That's the SC for my area. I know it takes time. I'm just hoping this 5 months processing time or less is REAL!!

TSC is horrible and slow right now, but don't freak out just yet--petitions aren't actually sorted by the geographic area where you live (I live in Georgia, mine went to California). They seem to go to the service center that (supposedly) has the capacity to process them at that time. You should receive your NOA1 soon to tell you where it went. And even then, you can't really determine how long it will take. When I filed, CSC was going slooooooowly...but mine ended up going through super-fast!
