This is for everyone but mainly for OKflyboy and any other OKC filers.

It was good, long day but good. I was told they don't always have it at the Federal Courthouse. Apparently they have about 20 people taking the oath at the USCIS office. We had 97 taking the oath. I parked on 4th st. right on the corner of 4th & Harvey for $5.00 for the day. Had to be there at 9:30, they had us sit in the courtroom on the 3rd floor (your family can be there), they tell you to fill in the letter and sign it if you haven't already, but it's ok to fill it in and sign it before, then they call your name, you go and talk to an Immigration officer, hand in your GC, sign your certificate, hand in your filled in letter and they give you a number. Then you can leave (the room) and come back at 11:30. They then sit you in a numbered seat for the ceremony which starts at 12:00. That lasts for about 30 minutes. You then pick up your certificate and leave!

Interesting. I'll be taking the Oath in Tulsa. I have no idea how it works, but the letter they gave me at the interview says the ceremony starts at 11 am (or noon, can't remember) and there's nothing about having to come early and register. Maybe it will be in the actual OL. Which I have not gotten yet. Still in queue... I have pretty much given up hope to get to the September Oath :crying:

Don't lose hope, the week is not over yet. So when is the next Oath after the Sept one?

Well, they're supposed to send me the note at least two weeks before the oath date, and it is exactly two weeks away (as of tomorrow). There's still a slight chance, but only slight.

The next one is October 12.

You and me both! I tried sending an e-request about my case but apparently I'm still within the processing time of my district office. Funny, since Chicago's processing time is 5 months and I'm going on 6.5. Another thing the USCIS is bad at; simple mathematics.

You and me both! I tried sending an e-request about my case but apparently I'm still within the processing time of my district office. Funny, since Chicago's processing time is 5 months and I'm going on 6.5. Another thing the USCIS is bad at; simple mathematics.
