Thank you everybody! There was a special speaker at the ceremony. She is the daughter of former speaker of the house Nancy Pelosi. Alexandria Pelosi has made a HBO documentary of a immigrants path to citizenship called "Citizen USA" She got the idea because her husband is an immigrant. All the new citizens from the ceremony were invited to the special screening. We didnt go because it was later that evening and we had a long drive home.

Thanks! I dont know that she was "that special" LOL. I had never heard of her before that day. If we had lived closer, we would have have gone to see it. The documentary is going to air on HBO I think on July 3rd anyway.

Just called USCIS again. Was told (by the third level 2 officer that I have spoken to thus far) that I was placed in queue to be scheduled for interview on April 5, 2011. I guess I will be calling again in 30 days. Congrats to all who have had updates.

hello

Today was my ceremonykicking.gifwow.gifbiggrin.gif

arrive at 7 am and there were many people!

touch me sit in the row number 8, and was the 68 to pick up the certificatewow.gif,

was very emotional and peaceful, many people cry for this great step.

for me was a huge step in my lifewow.gif and that i needed to bring my wife and daughter to California,

I recommend to others who are in this step to make copy of the certificate before you get the passport and many needed an upgrade to a case pending with family migration.headbonk.gif

I read a lot this forum, but hardly write.

God bless you all and good luck to those who are in this step.
