I guess I got someone in a good mood. After she went through her spiel of reading to me the same thing that I see when I check my status online, I asked her if it would be possible for me to speak with a level 2 officer. I told her that I heard that they have more access to more information, and that since I had completed my fingerprints over a month ago, I would love to check if my case has been transferred yet. And she transferred me. :blush:

You were lucky then - hopefully you'll get some kind of update within a week or so.

My status changed to 'Testing and Interview' last week, but it doesn't mention that if my case has been transferred to the local office so I called in to check with them and got stuck with the Tier 1. Who kept replying the same thing over and over again, lol.

My status is : -

On May 9, 2011, your N400, APPLICATION FOR NATURALIZATION was placed in line for interview scheduling. When scheduling is complete, you will receive a written notice with a time and place for your interview. Please check the website for further updates on your case. If you move, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address.

I filed in March so I'm thinking I will be waiting for a long time before I get an interview letter, since there are so many people who applied before me have been waiting for the Interview date as well.

Are you sure you couldn't just call in like I did? Saves time - my case doesn't even appear to be transferred yet to Fairfax. The lady was fairly helpful, although some of her answers were canned. They can;t really tell you WHY it's held up unless there was an RFE or something they're waiting for.

Congratulations Yong - I know you must be very happy and so am I for you. Your wait was very long and thank God you will be over with this soon. I hope Udella also get his interview date soon and so am I. Now looking forward for that interview letter in the mail :)
