I'm sending in my package to the CA center tomorrow as a priority post letter package through the united states postal service. In addition to delivery confirmation should I also ask for signature confirmation or will signature confirmation hold up the process and cause more problems then its worth?

Has anyone had any experience with this and what would you recommend?

Thanks.

I don't think it matters that much. For what is worth we just sent it via Priority Mail with delivery confirmation (no signature). It got to CA from Chicago in 2 days

Back when we were sending in our K-1 petition, the advice was to NOT send it Registered or Signature Required.

The reason is that envelopes that go to the drop box become part of the normal daily "cue". Envelopes delivered to the office for a human signature must be put in another pile to accumulate (or so it seems) and it ends up adding days or even weeks to the process.

I can only remember hearing ONCE that a packet sent by standard USPS was lost. I suppose that's one reason why everyone advises making a duplicate of the package you send!
