Number of I-129F petitions filed by members of VisaJourney at VSC and CSC from March 1, 2006 through Aug 29, 2006.

CSC = 358 members filed for K-1

VSC = 185 members filed for K-1

Well don’t you think that DHS and USCIS could see that CSC has twice the work load and move maybe NSC or TSC applications to VSC? Of course I want to see TSC applications go there but then again most likely it’ll just bog them both down again.

Here's a graph I did last Sunday, as of that date (8/26/06). My numbers were about the same, but I was adding late at night.

Your chart made me realize that March was a very popular month to file with 160 Noa1s

or close to it

Maybe after a long and cold winter everyone was horny. :lol:

Check my math but thats roughly...

CSC 66%

VSC 34%

If the facilities are equally efficient and staffed, reason says CSC should be

taking pretty much twice the time to get through the petitions from an equal date range...hmmm...kinda looks like it huh? I say we need a more even distribution of the files...

July 17 2006 Sent I-129F to TSC

July 19 2006 packet received by TSC

July 27 2006 case received at CSC

July 28 2006 touched (to process/send NOA1)

Aug 01 2006 check cashed

Aug 05 2006 NOA1 received in mail

Oct 03 2006 Touched (RFE sent)

Oct 10 2006 RFE received and responded to

Oct 17 2006 Touched (CSC reply to RFE response)

Nov 06 2006 NOA2

Nov 21 2006 NVC sent to Manila

I agree and it would be nice to know if the facilities are equally staffed, but I would almost be willing to bet a weeks pay there is absolutely no one in our government that can or will answer that question.

I think the K-1 discussion board should be split between CSC and VSC. You can't compare the two and for a March filer, watching all these July / August approvals is sickening.

The only real difference is the time and that is something that has been going on for as long as Ive been a member of VJ. Other then that all I-129F petitions regardless of which service center is comparible in their requirements which is what is important as far as gaining the information/assistance one may need. There used to be various forums for each of the service centers in the USCIS forum but the issue was still the same........members got just as pissed then. It doesnt make it go away or less noticeable.

VSC is quicker because that is where folks from Washington DC do their filing. They will do everything more efficiently, because they are watched closer because of who their clients are, government big wigs.

It is a shame, but I'm sure that is why they also have not been combined into CSC like the other service centers. As normal, special services for the elite. Even after the IMBRA debacle, VSC had sufficient staff to get back on schedule quickly.
