I filed AOS for my husband sent it through fedex and i know they received it from the tracking number.

I also sent the form to get email sent and text, no text no emails yet,

Is it maybe because they have not started reviewing my packet yet?

just curious! someone on here always has the right thingto say to calm me down a bit, and my husband.

maybe theres a # i can call? :unsure::huh:

It usually takes a week to get initially reviewed, and can take even more. There is nothing you can do now, but to wait. You can watch your bank to see if they cashed the check. If they do, then it means your packet is accepted for review. There is also a chance that you forgot a signature or something, and it will be rejected. In that case they will send the whole thing back to you visa snail mail and they won't take you money. You will address the problem (perhaps something like a missed signature) and then send it all back. Either way, you'll just have to wait and see. Don't panic :) You'll be fine.

Hi! :)

How is everything going? Long time no hear!

If you paid the fee with a personal check (instead of using a money order) you can check your bank account and you will definitely notice when they have cashed the check! When did you send the packet? You should receive the receipt notice in a couple of weeks in the mail.

Best wishes! (F)

August 23, 2010 - I-129 F package sent via USPS priority mail with delivery confirmation.

August 30, 2010 - Per Department of Homeland Security (DHS) e-mail, petition received and routed to California Service Center for processing. Check cashed. I-797C Notice of Action by mail (NOA 1) - Received date 08/25/2010. Notice date 08/27/2010.

After 150 days of imposed anxious patience...

January 24, 2011 - Per USCIS website, petition approved and notice mailed.

January 31, 2011 - Approval receipt notice (NOA 2) received by mail. Called NVC, given Santo Domingo case number, and informed that petition was sent same day to consulate.

Called Visa Specialist at the Department of State every day for a case update. Informed of interview date on February, 16 2011. Informed that packet was mailed to fiance on February, 15 2011.

February 21, 2011 - Fiance has not yet received packet. Called 1-877-804-5402 (Visa Information Center of the United States Embassy) to request a duplicate packet in person pick-up at the US consulate in Santo Domingo. Packet can be picked-up by fiance on 02/28.

March 1, 2011 - Medical exam completed at Consultorios de Visa in Santo Domingo.

March 9, 2011 at 6 AM - Interview, approved!

March 18, 2011 - POE together. JFK and O'Hare airports. Legal wedding: May 16, 2011.

There's also blizzard conditions hitting parts of the US with offices closing and people not able to get in to work. The OP's timeline says it was sent on 2/27 which is about 3 weeks into the future. (??)

Hmm, a little confusing as your timeline says you filed 2/27?

For comparison sake - we filed AOS (from K-1) in early November 2010, biometrics were just before Christmas and then our case was transfered to CSC. We never received any further information and yesterday 2/4/2011 Doan's GC showed up in the mail. So it was about 3 months from the day we filed till we received the GC.

6/15/2009 Filed I-129F

12/15/2009 Interview (HCMC, VN)

1/16/2010 POE Detroit

3/31/2010 MARRIED !!!

11/20/2010 Filed I-485

12/23/2010 Biometrics (Buffalo, NY)

12/31/2010 I-485 Transfered to CSC

2/4/2011 Green Card received

1/7/2013 Mailed I-751 package

1/14/2013 I-751 NOA (VSC)

2/07/2013 Biometrics (Buffalo, NY)

I got the texts/emails 2 weeks after I mailed off my application... Others get their NOAs in just 5-6 days...As we all say here, it's a waiting game, and sometimes it even looks like a roulette to me

oh and...you may want to edit your timeline?
