So my landlord just called and said someone has signed for the apartment and we will be moving out at the end of September. I know I am to file the AR-11 form and have to alert the USCIS within 10 days after moving. I am assuming this part's a yes but just checking, does my husband have to file I-865 form as well since he is my sponsor?

No, your husband does not have to fill out AR -11 form .,,I am assuming he is the US citizen. WHoever the AOS applicant is, he or she only has to fill out the AR-11 form.

I believe i am correct in saying that.. THe 1-865 would be filled by the U.S citizen within 30 days of him moving(based on the fact that he had submitted an 1-864 before the moving date)

I know my husband doesnt have to fill out the AR-11.

I thought the I-865 was used for when a sponsor was moving. He is my sponsor and he's moving.

The answer is above.

Your husband fills out the 1-865 cos he is the sponsor as long as he submitted the 1-864(affidavit of support ) for your AOS.

yes, your husband needs to fill out the I-865 address change notice.

Even if a sponsor has not done an I-864, they would need to notify USCIS of an address change with the I-865, because it is the only address change notification that updates an address on on-going petitions or applications. So even if a petition has not been completed and approved yet, if the petitioner moves they need to notify USCIS.
