Hello Everyone! I have a question about embassy interview:

Is this worthwhile calling Russian embassy before interview (I am USC) telling them your story (since they listen only to the beneficiary during interview)? Would they even listen? Any experience with that?

What do you mean, telling them your story? Do you mean telling them about your relationship? No, that would not work. You could be anybody calling them. They'll get the information they need from the beneficiary at the interview.

Telling your story before the interview? Nah!

You can accompany the beneficiary to the interview though, its 50/50 chance you will be allowed to 'tell your story' :) .

Your fiancee will have the opportunity to tell your story to the CO. Plus you will send her with dozens of photos, transcripts of chats, emails, copies of your boarding passes, copies of tickets to events you attended, etc. These will help tell your story. Really, if your situation is one where there is no doubt of fraud, you have very little to worry about. I realize there is one couple on here who are going through difficulties in Moscow but I will tell you, there is likely a good reason for their troubles that we don't know about.

In Moscow, it is your lady's show 100%. You can't even get into the waiting room.

Equip your lady with the evidence of your relationship like the other posters advised you here and trust her to walk out of the embassy with the prize.

There is no other way.

Thank you, everyone for your comments. Just wanted to make sure that I have done everything I could!

I agree with your comments about that freaky moscow story. did seem fishy... But still got me worried! Thank you! She already has all the evidence (more than enough).
