Greetings to everyone,

First of all congratulations to everyone on their new life partners. I'm new to this site and find it very informative. I'm a US Citizen and my GF is from Pakistan. I plan to submit the K1 petetion next week and would like to know the following,

1) Has anyone recently processed their fiance visa? What was the time frame from start to finish before your fiance can enter the USA?

2) Besides the requested documents on the USCIS site, were there any additional documents provided to help make things go smoothly?

3) What was the experience like with the K-1 visa, stressful or was it peace of mind?

4) My fiance used to be in the USA on a scholarship and retured to Pakistan prior to her visa expiring, will that help any with my petetion?

5) Any word of wisdom when completing the I-129F and G-325A forms?

Any and all of your help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

There is no such thing as peace of mind until you are finally together with your SO. The whole process involes wait, waiting, and waiting some more. For a guide navigate through "GUIDE" on the header. Good luck.
