Question about police certificate

Hi, I really need some advice with someone on my same situation. I´m the petitioner for my husband (he is from S.M de Tucuman, Argentina) and the NVC requested a Police certificate (certificado de buena conducta)from him, we send it to the NVC and it was denied because it dosn´t mention the article 51 and it has to be mention on that police certificate. He went to the Federal Police office and they told him that they can´t add anything else on that paper and that for them to be able to do a research on his background he had to sign a paper where it mention the article 51.

So we don´t really know what to do because the NVC won´t accept it with out a frase where it mentions the article 51, and federal police can´t add anything else to the police certificate.

Has anyone been in the same situation? How did you do it? Help please!

You will have to go back and have another "certificado de antecedentes penales" done, when you go mention that it has to be done with the article 51. You will have to pay again but it doesnt cost extra for the article 51 part.

4-16-2011 -- (day 15) Biometrics appt received (May 9, 2011)

4-22-2011 -- (day 21) Case Transfered to CSC

5-09-2011 -- (day 38) Biometrics taken

5-24-2011 -- (day 53) EAD card production ordered

5-27-2011 -- (day 56) I485 Card Production ordered!!!

6-02-2011 -- (day 62) Welcome Letter Received

6-03-2011 -- (day 63) Green Card and EAD/AP Cards RECEIVED!!!

Done with Immigration for TWO WHOLE YEARS!!!

As nonayadro said, you have to have the certificate re-done (as if you didn't have the first one) with a specific note about article 51.

12-04-09 mailed I-129F

12-07-09 I-129F arrived in Vermont

12-08-09 NOA1

12-10-09 check cashed

04-05-10 NOA2 (no touches until approval!)

04-19-10 received at NVC

04-21-10 NVC sent to embassy

04-24-10 arrived at embassy

05-17-10 received packet 3

05-18-10 delivered packet to embassy

embassy asks us for ridiculous things before giving interview date, such as a photocopy of the sealed envelope from the medical exam...

07-27-10 interview

08-05-10 received visa!!!!!

08-06-10 left Argentina

08-07-10 POE (Dallas)

08-12-10 civil marriage ceremony

08-23-10 mailed AOS packet with EAD and AP applications together

08-25-10 packet arrived in Chicago

09-01-10 NOAs

09-02-10 check cashed

09-21-10 received SS number :) had to go into office twice but it worked!

09-23-10 requested EAD expedite

09-24-10 received biometrics letter

09-27-10 successful walk-in biometrics taken

10-01-10 receive EAD expedite request RFE letter

10-04-10 US Representative's office forwards our EAD expedite evidence

10-06-10 expedite for EAD granted, EAD and AP both issued :D

10-09-10 wedding (party!)

01-04-11 AOS interview (rescheduled because we moved, was 12-16-10) Approved!
