***** PRAISE THE LORD ! ! ! ! ! *****

Today my husband & I had our interview for our ADJUSTMENT OF STATUS and we got approved!!!!!!!! :thumbs:

The wonderful thing is we filled our paperwork late 2010 and we got approved in exactly THREE MONTHS!!!! :dance: :dance: :dance:

ALSO... "THE INTERVIEW WAS LESS THAN FIVE MINUTES"........ :wow: :wow: :wow:

TRULY the lord is good. We had so many fears about this but he only asked us 5 questions :)

We had over a hundred photos and lots and lots of paper work, but he never asked us for any other than a joint statement from the bank.... :star: He said we will get our card in 7days, we signed a sheet, and he said "Any other questions?"

It took 15 minutes to drive there, we waited for 15-20 minutes and we were in and out .... IN LESS THAN FIVE MINUTES :P

WE GOT MY WORK PERMIT, TWO WEEKS AGO, AND MY SOCIAL SECURITY, LAST WEEK.

NOW I'M SO HAPPY I COULD CRY.... :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying:

THANK YOU GUYS FOR ALL YOUR HELP, WE MADE IT IN SUPER SUPER RECORD TIME, FROM A VISITORS VISA.... TRULY ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE IF YOU BELIEVE...

We never planned on getting married at all it just happened that way so now we are...

Hi, got a question for you. How many months have you been out of status if you were before you applied for adjustment of status? Thanks. :)

May 24, 2010- non USC arrived on B2

Sept. 2010- USC & non-USC introduced by a friend on FB

Oct. 10, 2010- USC & non-USC met

Oct-Nov 2010- dating, fell in love

Nov. 23, 2010- B2 expired

January 11, 2011- married at Christian Church and living together

March 11, 2011- i-485, i-130 & i-765 filed via USPS(Day 1)

March 14, 2011- Packet received at Chicago Lockbox (Day 3)

March 17, 2011- Email Notifications received from USCIS of their receipt of the packet, and transferring to NBC. (Day 6)

March 17, 2011- Checks cashed by USCIS (Day 6)

March 21, 2011- Received NOA1 (Day 10)

April 4, 2011- Received Biometrics for i-765

April 8, 2011- Plan for Early Walk-In, and inquiry about i-485 biometrics (SUCCESSFUL)

April 22- I-485 Touched, I-130 and I-765 (still initial review status)

April 23- Received Appointment Letter for Green Card Interview set on May 24, 2011 (Wish me Luck!!!)

May 12, 2011- Received EAD Card!!!

May 13, 2011- Will go get SSN

May 19, 2011- Got my SS Card in the Mail :)

May 24, 2011- Interview Date for Green Card (Successful!!! Card Production Ordered)

Waiting for the Green Card!!! :):):)

June 2, 2011- GREEN CARD IS HERE!!!

11/24/2010 - Received appointment for biometrics in the mail for 12/17 *yay*

12/17/2010 - 9.25 a.m. - 9.45 a.m. Biometrics done !!

12/23/2010 - EAD Approved and Card on its way - Email notification received *yay*

01/03/2011 - WOOOHOOO ...EAD Card in Hand!

01/04/2011 - Oh boy....Received Interview Letter today - February 3rd is the day! :)

NOT QUITE SURE WHAT YOU MEAN HERE.. HE HE :lol: - - BUT WE SUBMITTED EVERYTHING THEY ASKED FOR. SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS AS IN WHAT DID WE SEND IN EXTRA?

MY ADVICE IS FOLLOW THE PAGE LINK HERE THAT SUGGEST HOW TO SUBMIT A FOLDER, USE A TABLE OF CONTENT FOR THE MASTER FOLDER, AND IN EACH FOLDER FOR EACH FORM YOU SUBMIT; USE A TABLE OF CONTENT.... THIS IS REALLY ONE REASONS IT ALL GOT SPED UP FOR US, WE THINK.

*** OF COURSE THE LORD DID ALL THE WORK, BUT :D ***

REMEMBER TO MAKE GOOD COLOR COPIES, OF EVERYTHING... GO OVER BOARD IN ALL YOU DO, HOPE THIS HELPS
