Something is wrong with a person if they have a abortion at 6 months and isnt emotional about it. I personally think Amby is putting on a front to piss of pro-life people or she had it very early in her pregnancy.

Well by now you should know I'm not religious so I get no comfort in the free pass to Heaven. You assumed it was very early in pregnancy that she had the abortion and it probably was.

6 weeks. Most abortions are done at 6 weeks. People don't just sit around knowing they're pregnant contemplating an abortion if they know they made a mistake.

Are we conjuring up demons worthy of our hate or is there an actual person we're talking about who aborted at 6 months (that's half a year, 26 weeks) and doesn't feel 'emotional' about it?

I think anything over 18 weeks is illegal everywhere. I'm pretty sure it's 14 or 16 weeks in most states.

Well if a woman doesnt realize that she was pregnant until 27 weeks(it has happened) then its ok to have a abortion in your eyes? Im not concerned with when the woman realizes she is pregnant. I concerned with how far along the child is and the moral issues that come along with it.

Simpson - the reason it becomes illegal beyond a certain number of weeks is because after that time a fetus is viable outside of the womb. this typically happens around 24-27 weeks but they rarely live if born at 24 weeks.
