Approved...but

My husband was approved for a visa. We will have to wait a little longer as ONE letter was spelled wrong in his name on his police report (WOW) and he has to come back on February 24 with a new one. This is a real important thing that could not slide. They asked for his old police report and it expired just last month so he received a white slip. No more details because Oh Ghana.. his phone line went down. He caled me at 4:23 am USA time so it was 9:23 am his time so he may have been one of the first interviewed. I will update you on the interview later (when lines are back up). Thank you very much for your thoughts, kind words and prayers. We are Blessed and Very Happy the hard part is over. Everything will be according to His Will.

Congrats. Was wondering though how the visa could be approved without the police report (as another poster stated, it could be for another person)? Thinking it was conditionally approved provided a clean and accurate police report is submitted. Visa things seem to have made me so detail oriented.

Hopefully, the issue can be fixed soon and his visa can be printed and delivered in only a few weeks.

Congrats!!!!!! Glad you decided to share can't wait to hear more detail about interview..since I'm waiting on an interview for my husband. Thanks everyone for congrats. The interviewer said approved and kept all his papers and gave him back the ones he should have, then he kept all the necessary papers for the visa and his medical. He was also finger printed. He gave him back his passport and told him to take it to police station and tell them to type his name exactly as it appears in his passport. He was able to do that today so it was corrected immediately, however, the security personnel would not let him back into the consulate All in God's time... His Will (will post interview notes when I find where to do this as I tired and needed more than 400 characters.. it was a very detailed one for sure). Thanks again.
