"Fiance Petition Approval Notice" for I-485

Hello,

I need some clarification for the AOS:

In the I-485 form, it mentions that for K-1 Fiances to adjust their status, they need to submit the "Fiance Petition Approval Notice" -- what is this and how do we obtain it??

Also, do I need to submit a new Affidavit of Support that's different than the I-134 that I used for his original K-1 application?? (on the I-485 instructions, it mentions Form I-864).

Please let me know.

They mean the NOA2 (approval notice) from your I-129F.

Yes, you must complete the I-864.

I would suspect that the Approval is NOA2, but I may be wrong.

As for the afidavit of support, yes you do submit a different form I-864. If you are the only supporter consider using the I-864EZ from the USCIS website, it is easier to understand and requires less documentation, 1-3 years tax information, and past 6 months pay stubs.
