Note to Elm: That's a joke. It means I wish it weren't such bad weather and that global warming were not a hoax so it would be warm and stop snowing. But it is a joke because I still love Vermont, live here by choice and plan to do some great skiing when the storm passes.

I just could not figure out why someone who I would have thought supported the work of Planned Parenthood would say something akin to "this person is an idiot, that's why they work for PP." Perhaps there is a nuance I am missing, but it seemed like you were tarring the entire organisation with the same brush that clearly applied a heavy coat of the stupid to that employee.

He said, 'This person shouldn't reproduce, maybe that's why they work for PP.' Even though PP has "parenthood" in its name, most of its resources are used to prevent people from becoming parents. my family in NW CT is complaining they are running out of room to pile the snow ... guess they mean around the house ... cause they have lots of acres to pile up the snow on ...

My mom was trying to figure out where all the snow that's being removed by the City is going -- she said a ton was going into the parks, but she heard it's now being brought down to the ocean. My dad is SO thankful he had the foresight to have the snowblower fixed in October!

Both my parents have posted pics on Facebook of themselves cross-country skiing down Rte 10. I am NOT sad to be stuck here in SoCal today!
