Adams grandmother is out of the hospital but now her liver is failing. I hope she gets better, but in her mid 80s, I dont think it will happen. If she passes, we will need to see if his mother will live in Cairo with his sister and her husband or if we will get her to visit here and then possibly live here at some point. Something we will have to start thinking about. His father died in 06, his grandfather died in 07 and he has no brothers so its basically going to be on us to take care of his mom.

Tammy, so sorry to hear about Adams grandmother. I'm sure it's very hard on him being away.

Just hoping she will get better. Praying for his family Tammy. Hope you and Adam are doing well!!

Tammy, so sorry to hear that Adam's grandmother is ill. I hope her health improves very soon. (F)

I have two things to share with you guys, One, We sent Hachemi's Citizenship paperwork in on Friday. So here we go again. LOL

Two; My son, Kyle, received a full college scholarship to play goalkeeper for their soccer team. The way it looks I wont have to pay a dime for anything, thank God!

His high school team made it to the state championship for the schools first time, but unfortunately they lost the game.

Kyle was coached in league soccer since he was little by an Algerian friend, so I credit him for making Kyle the goalkeeper he is today.

Congrats to your son Meriem! Hope you get well soon Charles, I had that for 2 weeks at the beginning of the year.

Thankyou for thinking about us and praying for us. Adam spoke to his family today just briefly. His grandmother is still the same.

Trying not to get bogged down by AOS stuff. We applied in early December, got biometrics done and have been sitting pretty since then. Our local office is backlogged six months, which is making me nervous. Ahmed's I94 and EAD expire in September, so if we haven't heard anything by June then we have to file for an extension of the I94 and a renewal for the EAD. I am just praying that we are finished before then! A friend of my husband's adjusted from a K1 a little while ago at the same office and they were finished in three months from start yo finish. All of the K1 filers in my December AOS group seem to be flying right along, too, so it seems like the k3 is taking longer for some reason. :( it doesn't help that I haven't been able to find a job, which makes me more focused on this ####### :)
