I read the news this morning - I was like WOW!!

There were 1,555 students enrolled at Tri-Valley last fall and about 95 percent of them were from India.

It is obvious even with just a cursory visit to their website that they aren't a real university.

The word on the Interwebs is that they were selling student visas. No class attendance required.

There are a bunch of such fake universities out there. But TVU stands out because of the horrible grammar on their website. It is often hard to make out what they are trying to say.

Interestingly, the TVU founder has a PhD from Berkeley. And her PhD thesis is written in readable English. I'm not sure if she had a ghostwriter for the thesis, or if she hired some dyslexic person to write the TVU website.

Yea heard about this from co-worker at work and was like wow interesting.

Coz I know there are such fraud and sham schools in UK which only have one room and they call themself university and they fake the attendance reocrd test record etc for all the enrolled students, while students work illegally during their period of stay.

Surpringly SEVIS did not pick it up.....
