I-864 HELP

hi you guys. so my fiancee and i are applied for the k1 visa but might get a denial cuz we cant hit the financial support guidlines and cant find a co sponsor.so we were thinking maybe bout getting married in germany and live here for a year or so.

so with my research i found out if we apply then for the "DCF" they still want the same form the financial support form.

so i was wondering how we should do that?? because my finacee would live then in germany and would have an german income.

im just so confused here. how does that work.

it would be great if someone could give me an answer to it

I-864 requires maintaining a US Domicile, proof that living abroad is a temporary condition. Also will need some sort of evidence that can support after returning to the USA, a solid job offer, or a job that continues after moving.

Some on DCF, have US spouse head home shortly after filing petition, then actively do things like find place to stay, and get employed, this will the satisfy the Domicile/Support issue.

Also many doing DCF get a joint sponsor to provide an I-864 in the event the petitioner does not have a job in the states lined up for after moving back home.
