My I-130 for my spouse was Approved on 12/27/2010 at USCIS and was forwarded to NVC. I have not heard from the NVC yet. How long on average will it take for us hear from NVC? How long did you wait before contacting the NVC about the status of your case. I hate the playing the waiting game and I'm really tempted to call every week to check on our case.

Thats over a month now. You can call NVC and get your NVC case number off them using your USCIS receipt number. And while you are talking to an operator give them your email address(es). It makes things sooo much quicker to receive correspondence by email rather than waiting for letters in your mailbox.

Once you get your NVC case number, you can set the ball rolling by sending your choice of agent (DS3032) by email.

09/15/2014 - Inline for interview scheduling (was stuck in "Initial Review" for over 3 months!)

12/19/2014 - I AM A US CITIZEN!
