So my husband got the IR-1 Visa and arrived in the US on the 28th of January!!! Now we are trying to get him a SS Card. I read online that he should wait ten days before going to the Social Security office to request the card and that he needs documents proving his status here and age. What exactly can he bring with him? How long does it take? Any suggestions or tips???

Thank you!
