so frustrating to check USCIS website everyday and not seeing anything on AOS case status still.

I don't have much faith in that site... Viv will get her GC any day now, but her I-485 case still shows "Testing and Interview" even though they've already sent her the "Welcome to the USA" letter, and the EAD and AP cases for the combo card she got a month ago never showed "Card/Document Production" on the web site.

Congrats that is nice to get everything! We got greencard and welcome letter on the first of April....we got txt on the 5th that EAD card was ordered but up until now we still have not gotten the EAD

I have zero faith as well in that website...! We received our EAD card over a month ago and according to the website, it's at the post-decision mark. We never received an email or a text message about it. Stay patient!

I had my interview yesterday...little bit of waiting at first but once we got in, it was maybe 10 mins if that. I got approved!! I had a big stack of papers and only needed our kids birth certificates. no pictures, no joint account copies and not even a certified copy of our marriage certicate was needed. They don't do the stamps on passports anymore and the card should be in the mail soon. I didn't think to ask andthe officer didn't mention if I'll get a 10 year card, we'll see I guess :)

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

As for the USCIS website, today, two weeks after I got my green card in the mail, they sent me an e-mail that they approved my I-485!!!! It just made my day! SO funny!

2-7-11 - Day 0 -sent AOS package (concurrent filling)

2-11-11-Day 4 - received text message from USCIS with the receipt number

2-18-2011 - Day 11[/font]- received NOA 1 in mail for I-130, I-485, I-765, I-131

2-22-2011 -Day 15- received biometrics letter -appt March 14

3-10-2011- still cannot see case online although I called USCIS two days ago

3-14-2011- Day 35- Biometrics done on the appointment day

3-24-2011-Day 45-case showing up online!!!! USCIS mailed on 3-23 my interview appt letter- April 26 is the day!

3-26-2011-Day 48-Received interview appt letter

4-1-2011-Day 59- USCIS mailed I-131 approval and ordered production of my new card (I assume the combined EAD/AP)

4-11-2012-Day 69- received EAd&AP combo in mail! Bad picture!

4-26-2011-Day 84-APPROVED!!! Card production ordered!

4-30-2011-Day 88-Welcome to America letter received

Congrats Anitta and Romancita! :thumbs:

I had my interview on Thursday the 12th. We showed up half an hour early but ended up waiting over an hour.

The interviewer was very nice. All she asked to see was our I.D. and my I-94. She then told us the affidavit of support had been approved and verified my info (date and place of birth, parents' names, our address, etc.), asked those silly questions again (any intention of participating in espionnage, overthrowing the governement, taking part in a genocide, any affilitation with the communist party, etc.) and that was it. Not one question regarding our relationship. The interview lasted under 10 minutes.

On Saturday I got the email that the card production had been ordered on the 12th. Overall, absolutely painless. :)

Congrats to all of you who are done, and good luck to those with an upcoming interview!

Congrats to everyone who got their greencards. Our interview is in one week. Although we recieved the AP/EAD card about two weeks ago I just got the texts from USCIS to update our account. Just made me laugh a little. Hopefully our interview will be just as painless as everyone elses.

I'm starting to get a little worried. We haven't heard anything about the AOS as far as the Green Card since March. I hope it didn't get lost somewhere. I'm tempted to call them and see if they have any different updates other than what the website says.

I wouldn't overly worry, but I would call.

Your case has been transferred for over a month and a half now... I would have expected it to go quicker than that.

Ugh, just called and they're telling us we need to go by the local USCIS office processing time which is currently showing they are processing September of 2010 and it would probably be a couple more months before we heard anything else about it. I really don't believe anything they have to say.
