Yehey! I got my EAD saturday... Still waiting for an interview letter since I can't work coz I'm pregnant due on June! I wish we could be interviewed before our baby is born... ;-)

I never applied for AP and last week found out USCIS lost my EAD application so I got nothing yet either. My interview is May 13th and I'm really hoping to get approved that day.

Ugh! How annoying that they lost your application! At least your interview is coming up soon. How did you find out it was lost?

Starting to wonder if my husband will end up having an interview. The status is still showing as Initial Review with the last update being March 30th, from when it was transferred and began processing at CSC. Keep checking every day, multiple times, to see if the status changes or if an interview date will appear. Though now that we have the EAD it's more like... "whatever"... when it comes to the Green Card. He'll get it when he gets it, the EAD was enough for him to get a job and drivers license, so we're happy he has that now. Congrats to everyone with your approvals and interview dates coming up!!

Got our EAD/AP combo card today! Let the job flurry begin! lol

Ours has been at CSC for awhile, too, with no touches. Unless they suddenly send it back here to Iowa, I think we'll be okay. :P

Ever since my wife got her EAD And SSN she realizing how hard it is to get a job lol. Shes applied at like 10 different places but no ones hiring lol. Our Interview for 485 is scheduled for May 5 its taking forever to get here! Just a few more weeks...

Hello all,

I just get the notice for an AOS interview on 24May2011 :dance:

On the letter, it states that if my wife do not speak English fluently, she should bring an interpreter.

Both of us will be at the interview, and I can translate for her. Do we still need to bring an interpreter?

They will interview us at the same time, right?

You can do some research here on Visa Journey using the search bar to see if there have been any other similar situations. However, I think they would prefer an official or authorized translator. Maybe someone here went through this and can give you more details.

I posted couple of question here, but got no attention. Please you guys can give me a hand in this question, I would be greatly appreaciated for that.

I received email saying that "On April 26, 2011, we mailed you an appointment notice for an interview for June 1, 2011, at NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER. Please follow the instructions on the notice."

I am confused about the location "national benefit center", Is the in MO state? Why is my case not transferred to my local office in boston? Do I have to go MO location, I am so worried, because I need to carry my baby as well. Many thanks to any replies!!!!

Don't worry. When you get the actual letter in the mail, it will say the exact address for your interview, and it will (should) be at the local office closest to you.

Mine said the same thing, and my interview is in Denver.
